YAY! I adore PG to bits, truly, but the supershort buzzcut just makes him look like Captain Grandpa. Keep this length -- it works!

Seriously! And when you compare the pic from March to the pic from a few days ago, doesn't he look like March PG's younger brother? The little longer hair makes him look so much younger. Plus, the tan helps.

And I love seeing his neck. Those stupid buttoned collars and ties squish up his neck.

Love the new look. Definitely should keep it for the new season. Oh, and more of that business casual look would be nice.

PG was in Vegas yesterday for the ribbon cutting of the CSI Experience at the MGM Grand. Dayna Roselli, from one of the LV TV stations, posted a couple of videos on her Twitter page. You have to look to see PG (kind of a 'where's Waldo' kind of thing) but he's there.

His jacket looks like a painful afterthought. Or maybe it's just the weird way he's standing. At the very least, he needs to unbutton the jacket.

And links to some really great pics of PG:

Thanks for sharing those. I forgot how to save pics like the ones @ the Life page... Those are great.

Has anyone happened upon this item: "The Poem I Turn To With Audio CD: Actors and Directors Present Poetry That Inspires Them (Hardcover)?" I've purchased it on Amazon and eagerly await it to hear Paul reading poetry. This is a sidebar article to it which someone here in JBFF land has probably perused see link - http://culturecrank.com/shtmls/thepoemiturnto.shtml. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.

So apparently PG is at the Flyers-Blackhawks game 4 tonight. I've been watching the game but haven't seen him. But they show Joe Biden a lot. I can only hope PG isn't pulling for the Flyers. :P

I hope he's not rooting for the Flyers either! I'm pulling for the Blackhawks too!

Beaujolais, shoot me a PM when you can, would like to hear how you're doing!

Dan Gross @ Philly Gossip wrote:"CSI" actor Paul Guilfoyle was rooting for the Flyers last night from Section 244. He has been a Flyers fan since attending Lehigh University where he played hockey as a defenseman and played at the Spectrum several times.. The Boston native was conflicted when the Flyers played the Bruins but regularly cheers for the Flyers and hopes to return to the Wachovia Center for Game 6 Wednesday.

I forgot PG went to Lehigh University. I guess he gets a pass. I don't especially like the Blackhawks but I'm a Caps fan so it goes against my team to root for the Flyers. At least he's not a Penguins fan.

. . . . . .

Ah, that makes sense! Being from the midwest originally and liking the idea of seeing a different team take the Stanley Cup are my incentives for hoping the Blackhawks go all the way. My Stars probably won't be in the hunt next season but you have to stick (pun intended) it with out with the team you support.

Hope all are having a great weekend; here in Texas it's hot as H-E-double hockey stick with temps over 100.

Melting away,

I have no idea why he's doing this but check out the video of Paul talking prefab green homes. Blu|Origin. It looks like this was posted last month but not sure if that's when they did the video. I think I recognize that shirt he's wearing.

Also, PG's mother passed away last month. There was an obit posted in a Boston paper. It also mentions that he's got three sisters.

And lastly, still no news on whether he's signed a new contract. At least he's in negotiations though so I guess that means he wants to come back if the price is right. I hope the price means some decent screen time. And maybe a love interest.

. . . . .

Beaujolais:

Thanks for sharing those significant finds!

My heart goes out to PG and his family on the passing of their mother, and that the warm memories they have will give them peace and comfort.

I agree the shirt in the Blu Origin vid looks familiar, but have to confess I'm having trouble placing it. It doesn't surprise me to see PG advocating support of green products. I would think his philosophy on the topic would be an informed and balanced one.

On the contract front, I see TPTB didn't renew Liz Vassey's contract, but I remain hopeful that PG will get a suitable contract. He's the main reason my viewership continues. A love interest and one that continues would be a definite plus...not one that makes a splash in one or a few episodes and dwindles away. An Ellie update?

Oh, crap, time got away from me. Gotta make a mad dash to church now! Drat and triple drat.

Hope you're having a great weekend! :)

Be well,

According to the passing statement by Ausiello, Paul has signed on for at least S11. I hope he got a good deal that includes more screentime but I'm not holding my breath.

Read it here: Jorja inks new deal, Paul gets a passing mention

I am so happy to read that he's back for Season 11. Gives me a reason to actually still watch the show. I would love to see him get a love interest, but I think that's asking too much from TPTB.

Link to pic of "Peter" Guilfoyle from last night's 2010 CBS Summer Press Tour Party. I can't believe those idiots didn't get his name right. The man gets no respect.

But time off seems to be very good for him because he looks good! Maybe it's just me but he looks a lot healthier than he was looking at the end of last season. Then again, maybe it's just the open neck shirt. That always takes years (and pounds) off of him.
